Ingredients
Scale:
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons sesame oil
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon chili garlic sauce (adjust to taste for spice level)
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 green onions, chopped
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Instructions
In a medium bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, chili garlic sauce, ginger, and garlic until well combined.
Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
After marinating, remove the chicken from the refrigerator. Sprinkle cornstarch over the marinated chicken and toss to coat evenly.
In a large skillet or wok, heat the sesame oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken in a single layer and cook for 5-7 minutes without stirring.
Once the chicken is browned, stir to cook the other sides for another 3-4 minutes until fully cooked and no longer pink inside.
Pour any remaining marinade into the skillet and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
