Ingredients
Scale:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 packet (2 ¼ teaspoons) active dry yeast
¾ cup warm water (110°F)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon sugar
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup marinara sauce or olive oil
1 cup crumbled feta cheese
¾ cup sliced Kalamata olives
1 small red onion, thinly sliced
1 bell pepper, diced
1 cup spinach or arugula
½ teaspoon dried oregano
¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt.
Once the yeast mixture is frothy, add it along with olive oil to the flour mixture. Stir until a dough forms.
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone inside if you have one.
Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface into a circle about 12 inches in diameter.
Spread marinara sauce or olive oil evenly over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
Sprinkle feta cheese over the sauce, followed by Kalamata olives, onion slices, bell pepper, and spinach. Finish with oregano and black pepper.
Transfer the pizza onto the preheated pizza stone or a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with a side of tzatziki sauce.
