Description
A delicious, easy dinner that combines tender ground beef with gooey cheese, all wrapped in flaky crescent roll dough.
Ingredients
Scale:
- 1 pound ground beef (lean preferred)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your favorite blend)
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and chopped onion. Cook until the beef is browned and the onions are soft, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Unroll the crescent rolls and separate them into triangles. Arrange the triangles in a circle on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Spoon the beef mixture onto the center of the crescent roll ring. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the beef evenly.
- Fold the pointed ends of the crescent rolls over the filling and tuck them under to form a ring. Brush the top with the beaten egg.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the crescent dough is golden brown and puffy.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing into portions.
