When the temperatures rise and the sun shines, there's nothing quite as refreshing as a Layered Fruit Salad Trifle. This delightful dessert is a perfect blend of seasonal fruits, creamy textures, and a touch of sweetness. It's not just beautiful to look at, but it's also incredibly versatile, making it an ideal centerpiece for parties, picnics, or casual family gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale:
2 cups strawberries, hulled and sliced
2 cups blueberries
2 cups kiwi, peeled and sliced
2 cups pineapple, cubed (fresh or canned)
2 cups mango, diced
2 cups Greek yogurt (plain or flavored)
1 cup whipped cream (or cool whip for an easier option)
1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (to taste)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Mint leaves for garnish
Additional fruit for decoration
Instructions
Begin by preparing the fruit. Wash, peel, and cut the strawberries, kiwi, pineapple, and mango as needed. Slice them into uniform pieces for even layering.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, whipped cream, honey, and vanilla extract. Stir until well blended and smooth.
Choose a clear glass trifle dish or individual cups for serving. Start layering with a portion of the fruit.
Once you've added a layer of fruit, add a layer of the creamy mixture on top. Use a spatula to spread it evenly.
Repeat the layering process, alternating fruits and creamy layers, until you reach the top of the dish.
For the finishing touch, garnish with fresh mint leaves and a few pieces of fruit on top.
Cover the trifle with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
